Rest, and blessings in disguise

The past week or so has been quite different from how I thought it was going to be.... I thought I would finish two weeks of NTS modules, have a day and a half for last-minute preparations, and then fly to Bulgaria on September 4. However, plans changed.
My visa did not arrive. Actually, it is still now even in processing. I can't go to Bulgaria until I have my visa. I changed my departure date for September 27th, and I should have my visa by then.

In the meantime, I rest. I sleep in, I read, I pray. I enjoy the time God has given me. I am slowly but surely getting better. I was sick during modules, and so, after modules finished, I came home, back to green Washington, to rest here until flying to Bulgaria, instead of waiting in Kansas City. It is wonderful to spend a few more weeks with my family. I've enjoyed this time of rest. I've been able to read up more on Bulgaria and attempt to learn a few words. I look forward to Bulgarians helping me pronounce their language - it'll be easier trying to learn pronounciation from a book! : )

Keep praying for me. Pray for full health, and for speedy processing of my visa so I can go to Bulgaria.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6-7
